Calan Stanley is an artist and graphic designer based in the small regional town Chewton, Victoria, Australia.  He has a BA in Fine Art from London Guildhall University and worked at The Museum of Installation and the Southbank Centre in London. Following this he started his career as a graphic designer focusing on print and publication design. In 2006 he returned from London to Melbourne and set up one of Australia's leading eco-friendly printing businesses PrintTogether.

Since 2018 he has been painting under the renowned Australian artist David Moore. His approach to painting is very direct and painterly. His still life and landscape work focuses on tone, using a minimal refined colour palette.
